The Back-To-School Supply Challenge starts now, and ends on September 25th, 2016 at 11:59pm ET. Top creations will be selected and announced by the 26th at 5PM. Good Luck!

iPhone Accessory Challenge

The newly announced, iPhone 7 will be released in less than a week! With the start of our much more wireless future (sorry to see you go, headphone jack) we want to know what accessories you would make for your phone.

Polar 3D is encouraging makers and students to create unique and awesome accessories for your mobile devices. Maybe you'll make a case to hold the tiny-but-fancy new wireless headphones, or a charging station to keep all this tech charged!

Starting now until September 25th at 11:59PM, join us to create the accessory you've always wanted to use with your mobile devices. You can use any software that can produce .STL files to design your add-on (see details below). The goal here is to inspire students and teachers to have fun and make something cool!

You'll be making an awesome phone accessory to be judged by the Polar team. You could make something entirely customized (like a car mount for navigation), or insanely useful (like a headphone cord organizer), or even something Apple hasn't ever dreamed of (a case for filming underwater with your waterproof iPhone 7???). As long as you make it yourself, we're onboard! Honorable mentions will be judged and featured over the two weeks, with an overall winner & runners-up picked on September 26th!

Upload an .stl file & picture of the finished print, and/or timelapse video for submission. To help if you need iPhone Dimensions for making a case, you can visit Apple's Case Design Guidelines page and get their PDF. It's got all the info and guidance you need! Have fun and get to printing!
