Haunted Halloween Challenge

This Halloween, we want to see you make something spooky with your Polar 3D Printer. Did you know that by using a flameless LED tea light (found at most stores around this time of year), you can illuminate the inside of 3D prints made in lighter filament colors like orange, yellow, green, red, and white?

In this challenge, Polar 3D is encouraging makers and students to create unique and spooky Halloween designs that can be illuminated! We've provided a tutorial using TinkerCAD here at

on how to take an already spooky model and make room for an LED candle inside! See the pictures attached to this challenge to see a simple LED candle and an example of the scary results of lighting a print!

Starting now until November 1st, join us to create the something haunted for your Halloween landscape . You can use any software that can produce .STL files to design your solution (see details below). Upload an .stl file & picture of the finished print, and/or timelapse video for submission. The goal here is to inspire users, students, and teachers to have fun and make something illuminating and spooky!

Your glowing designs will be judged by the Polar 3D team. Honorable mentions will be judged and featured over the 10 days, with an overall winner & runners-up picked on November 2nd! Have a spooktacular time and get to printing!
